On Tuesday, January 31, SALMS kicks off its spring 2012 Speakers Series with a talk by Harvard Business School Professor Teresa Amabile. In this talk, Amabile will discuss what makes people happy, motivated, productive, and creative at work. And she will explore the implications for managing people, especially in the professions that drive the law. Click here for further details.

Welcome to the Student Association for Law & Mind Sciences

The Student Association for Law and Mind Sciences (SALMS) is a student organization helping to bring groundbreaking mind sciences research that has profound implications for law and policy-making to the Harvard Law School community.

SALMS will be hosting speakers throughout the 2010-2011 academic year and encourages you to get in touch with its leadership if you are interested in sharing your work. Likewise, if you are an HLS student interested in getting involved, or a law student at another school and interested in launching a SALMS-like organization on your campus, the SALMS leadership would love to hear from you.

The association is sponsored in part by a generous donation from the international law firm of Jones Day.
