Why Donate?

Have you secured a paying job for this coming summer? If so, congratulations! Not only do you have a great job lined up, but you also have an exciting opportunity to give back to a fellow student who has decided to continue pursuing a public interest career.

You know firsthand that the Harvard Law School community supports its own. Now, you have the opportunity to contribute and give back to your fellow students. By donating to One Day’s Work, Harvard’s reinstated Student Funded Fellowship, you will help support graduating students undertaking public interest projects post-graduation. And next year, that graduating student could even be you!

Do the math: 80% of our class will enter the private sector this summer. If each of those students donates one day’s worth of their pay we can raise nearly $300,000, enough to fund 10 graduates’ salaries for their post-graduation year.
